The
1999 Rams lived up to all the hype and all the pressure and
dominated the mighty Denver Broncos in the first ever CFL Super Bowl
.
In
a game that was covered over Webex and seen by countless fans the
Rams put on a show for the ages. Kurt Warner (pictured top
left) was brillant and Marshall Faulk was equally unstoppable in
their co-MVP performances. Coach Steve Sobel (pictured to the
right) was the happiest of them all. After the game he was
quoted as saying, "This is truly a great team. The options are
endless. There is no way to stop them." The Ram offense
dominated the overmatched Bronco defense. Bronco coach Ed
Mikhli seemed to have the right plays, but just wasn't able to
inspire his troops who were actually 2 point favorites prior to kick
off. Congats to the "Greatest Show on Turf" and their
head coach Steve Sobel !
