Rules and Regulations

  1. All games will be played during the calendar week they are scheduled for.  Monday is the start of a CFL week.  Sunday @10pm EST is the deadline.

  2. Friday night is league game night.  If you can't play on Friday and need to play earlier or late you MUST e-mail your opponent (and cc: the league marc@bgatour.tv) offer up 3 alternative dates/times during the week that you are available.  Your opponent can choose to accept your offer or counter offer other available dates/times.

  3. In the event a player doesn't show up on Friday and doesn't follow step #2, their opponent can choose to play vs a proxy coach or postpone the game until at later date (prior to 11pm on Sunday night).

  4. Any coach missing 2 consecutive weeks of online game play without prior notice will be suspended.  This means that the league members can vote for removal of this coach.  A 2/3 plurality (9 or more teams) must be achieved for removal

  5. Any coach missing 3 consecutive weeks of game play will be automaticlly removed from the league and replaced.  Online league play is very important to the league & lack of participation compromises competitive integrity.

  6. The league MUST be notified by Wednesday night as per the scheduled date/time of each game (if the game is to be played on a night other than Friday).  This information will be posted on our Yahoo Calendar, which has built in e-mail reminders.

  7. The HOME team will host the game, unless they have a dial up connection or known hosting issues.

  8. In the event of a schedule conflict the ROAD team can choose a coach from another conference to coach his team.

  9. All games not played or scheduled by Sunday night at 10pm EST will be played by the computer & all results binding.

  10. The HOST team must EXPORT the game file and post it on the CFL Yahoo group. If you have Outlook express you can configure it to e-mail results and results files to the league and other coaches.  At the end of each game there is a popup box that prompts the HOST to e-mail results and game file.

  11. All players are responsible for downloading and IMPORTING the updated league file every Sunday night.  If you have a preset lineup or formation and want to save it to the league file you MUST export it and e-mail it to the league prior to the new week beginning.  You can make changes to your coach file up until game time by e-mailing it to your opponent who can import it into their game file prior to setup.

  12. If you loose your connection while playing, you must reconnect to the game within 10 minutes or IM your opponent to inform them you are having problems and when you can replay (from that point in the game.

  13. If a connection is lost, but the game software remains active the HOST must press the RESET button under the TOOLS tab on the game screen to re-initiate the connection

  14. If a run-time error occurs, both players should immediately exit the software.  The HOST should RESUME the game from the previous play and then invite their opponent to rejoin the game via IP.

  15. All games must be played with the 25 second play clock enabled in order to ensure that games are played in a timely fashion.
