KOD9 Schedule notes:
* The season consists of 40 games
* Each team plays 20 games at home and 20 on the road.
* Each team plays 24 games against the other 4 teams in their same division, and 16 games against the 5 teams in the other division.
* Against same-division opponents, each team plays a 3-game series home, and another 3-game series away.
* Against 4 of the 5 other-division opponents, each team plays a single 3-game series which is split either 2 games away and 1 home, or two games home and 1 away.
* Against 1 of the 5 other-division opponents, each team plays a 4-game series - 2 games home, 2 games away.  The last two games are a scheduled double-header.
* Because there is an odd number of teams in each division, when 8 of the 10 teams in each league are playing games within their own division, one team from each division is playing the "swing series" outside the division.
* The season is grouped into 13 "weeks/rounds":
     - Weeks 1-5 are from August 12-30.  Rosters size is set to 25. Each team plays one 3-game series per week with one calendar off day between each series.  During these first 5 weeks, each team plays 4 series within their division, and 1 swing series.
     - Week 6 begins September 01, when the roster size expands to 40.  And good thing too, because each team will play 16 games in the first 17 calendar days.  Pitching staff management will be at a premium.
     - Weeks 6-8 are from September 1-10.  Each team plays a 3-game series against the other division in weeks 6 and 7, and a 4-game series (with the double-header on the last day) against the other division in week 8.  There is no off day between week 6 and week 7.  But there is an off day between week 7 and week 8.
     - Weeks 9-13 are from September 12-29.  These weeks will mirror the first 5 weeks, with each team playing a 3-game series against the 4 teams in their own division, and one swing series sometime during that stretch against a team in the other division.  There is no off day between week 9 and week 10.  But there is an off day after week 10, 11, and 12.
* September 30 is reserved of any play-in tie breaker game that might be necessary.

One final note: The sequence of which team plays which other team is entirely random, including the order of who plays the "swing series" in weeks 1-5 and 9-13, and who the double-header opponents are.  The entire schedule was worked out ahead of time using letters A through J to represent each team in each league.  After the schedule was set, only then were the team assignments made to each letter following the order that Marc happened to use on the Roster window when he imported the teams into the league.

DH Usage Notes:

* The DH will ONLY be used in the AL
* In AL games where the home team is pre-1973 (1st yr of DH) the DH will NOT be used
* When two pre-1973 AL teams play the DH will NOT be used
* The DH will be used in the World Series in the AL team's ballpark, providing that team comes from the DH (1973-pre) era
